According to a report by Chinese website, micgadget.com, the Cupertino giant has finalized the date of the official presentation (Keynote) and subsequent launch date of the upcoming iPhone.
The report quotes ‘Foxconn insiders’ who confirmed that Apple will hold the Keynote conference on September 11 and launch the next-generation iPhone on September 18. The sources also confirmed that the Taiwanese manufacturer has begun mass producing the new iPhone.
Last week, the leaked images of the forthcoming smartphone also surfaced online. The images show that the smartphone will sport a look similar to its predecessor with same antenna lines; and headphone jack, speaker holes, microphone and Lightning port at the bottom.
The images also revealed a few changes in the optics with the phone sporting dual rear cameras.
Earlier in May, Ming Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, an analyst with a pretty good track record when it comes to all things related to the fruit company, predicted eleven new things about the new iPhone in his research note.
