Goa expects to get wide exposure as the result of a European Union program, under which six Goans will travel to Liverpool and South Africa, as part of an exchange program to promote culture.
The EU-funded program is for three years, said Nikhil Desai, Managing Director, Goa Tourism Development Corporation in New Delhi.
The state, which attracts domestic and international tourists, is also soon launching a portal where all facilities, attractions and packages will be available.
Goa will also be hosting Goa Carnival from February 6-9 and the Goa Wine Festival. The high-paying Russian tourists have started coming back to Goa, reported Desai.
