When comparing auto insurance quotes you need to keep these things in mind:
What kind of service can this company provide for me?
You need to make sure the company you choose is worth spending your time and money on. If they have bad claim or customer service centers it wont be worth saving even a little premium.
Are you getting the coverage you need?
If you choose to carry the minimum allowed coverage for your state you need to be aware that it may not be enough to cover you in the event of an accident. If an accident were to occur and you did not have enough coverage on your policy to cover the medical expenses and or property damage that is caused you will be held responsible for the remainder.
Also a good rule of thumb is to always carry enough liability coverage to cover your assets. Particularly if you are a homeowner or have investments you need to purchase higher coverage. This will protect you in the event of an accident. If you do not have enough coverage you can be sued for your assets.
When you choose to get full coverage on your automobile, always double check your deductible limits, and see if they have included rental reimbursement and or towing coverage. You don’t want to think you have better coverage and end up without it just because that quote was cheaper.
In short, make sure the company is reliable and the coverage is what you need then go for price.
