Micromax launches Canvas Blaze 4G, priced at Rs 5,999


NEW DELHI: Indian handset maker Micromax has launched Canvas Blaze 4G smartphone. The device is listed on the company’s website. Although no price is mentioned with the listing, the phone is available on Indiatimes shopping website at Rs 5,999.

The smartphone has a 4.5-inch screen and runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage and supports microSD cards of up to 32GB capacity.

The dual-sim smartphone has a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera for imaging. It supports 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB connectivity options.

The smartphone packs in a 2,000mAh battery with a claimed standby time of 220 hours and 6 hours of talktime, according to the company.

The company also launched two other smartphones — Canvas Fire 4G and Canvas Play 4G.

The Canvas Fire 4G features a 4.5-inch display, 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing cameras. Powered by a 1Ghz MediaTek MTK6735 quad-core processor, the phone packs in an 1,850mAh battery. Priced at Rs 6,999, it comes with 8GB internal storage and 1GB RAM.

The Canvas Play 4G smartphone has a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs Android Lollipop 5.1 and packs in a 2,820mAh battery, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The smartphone sports 13MP rear and 5MP front facing cameras. Powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, the phone is priced at Rs 12,499.
