NEW DELHI: US-based camera centric company Polaroid has showcased two Android-based smartphones at the ongoing CES 2016 — Polaroid Power and Polaroid Snap.
The Polaroid Snap smartphone comes in three screen sizes — 5-inch, 5.5-inch and 6-inch. It is packs a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Users can also install microSD cards for additional storage. The device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop the Snap smartphone comes in four colour variants — pink, blue, black and white. The prices of the smartphone will range from $ 129.99- $ 179.99 depending on the variant.
Coming to Polaroid Power, the smartphone features a 6-inch screen with a Full HD (1920 x 1080p) display. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB interal storage with an option to install microSD card for additional space. It sports a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera. Powered by a 3,000mAh battery, the Power smartphone runs on Android
5.1.1 Lollipop OS, which can be upgraded to Android
6.0 Marshmallow. The handset has been priced at $ 249.99.
