Samsung has launched two 4G-enabled mid-range smartphones – Galaxy J5 and J7 in India at Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999, respectively. The phones will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting 23 July with pre-bookings starting July 16.
Games worth Rs 3,200 as game credit from Gameloft and a flip wallet cover worth Rs 800 will be bundled with the phone in addition to 4G offers from Airtel.
While the Galaxy J5 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, the J7 is driven by a 1.5GHz Exynos octa-core processor. Both of the phones have 1.5GB RAM; the J7 comes with 16GB storage and the J5 with 8GB storage, with microSD card slots for expansion.
The phones sport a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera with front flash. The J7 has a 3000mAh battery while the J5 comes witha 2600mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity options, the phones support 4G LTE, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS.
