With the competition rising in the low-cost smartphone segment, Samsung has taken the fight to the rivals with the launch of Galaxy On5 and On7 smartphones.
Samsung has priced Galaxy On5 at Rs 8,990, whereas Galaxy On7 costs Rs 10,990. Both models are Flipkart-exclusive and will go on sale on November 4 midnight.
The new Galaxy On5 has a 5-inch HD (720p) screen and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos processor. The rear camera has 8MP resolution, while its battery capacity is rated at 2,600mAh.
On the other hand, Galaxy On7 has a 5.5-inch HD (720p) display and packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor under the hood. It has a 13MP rear camera and 3,000mAh battery.
Both of these dual-sim smartphones are Android
5.1 smartphones with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal storage; it can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD cards. Galaxy On5 as well as Galaxy On7 have 5MP resolution and feature connectivity options like 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and microUSB 2.0.
Samsung is preloading its Mix Radio app, which will be available in Tamil, Punjabi, Bengali, Kannada, Malyalam, Bhojpuri, Oriya, Rajasthani etc, on both smartphones.
