Seals with Clubs (SwC), a popular Bitcoin gambling website, has announced today that it will be shutting down all gambling services.
The company cited potential security breaches as its reason for closing, stating that operational security may now be in jeopardy due to several events:
“On approximately February 11th, 2015, several events occurred related to operational security that we consider to indicate SealsWithClubs now operates in a perpetual state of jeopardy. We will not divulge details publically, but they may come to light if any team member chooses to come forward of their own volition at a later date.”
Seals with Clubs urged all customers to withdraw any funds they have on SwC accounts, notifying them that their funds are safe for the present.
Although SwC will be shutting down, Chairman Bryan Micon is planning on continuing the business with a new team, picking up where SwC leaves off. The SwC team is currently working on transferring the rights to its SwC 2.0 software package to Micon, so he can continue growing the Bitcoin gambling industry.
